Abstract: Integrated nutrient management plays a significant role in improving resource use efficiency, so it is important for the sustainable production of crops. The sole application of chemical fertilizers is associated with certain constraints, such as diminishing soil productivity, creating multiple nutrient deficiencies, and disorders. On the other hand, integrated application of inorganic fertilizers, organic fertilizers and biofertilizer significantly enhance food grain production, maintain soil fertility, and increase farmer’s income by influencing the nutrient status in soil. This article reviews the effect of integrated nutrient management on growth and yield parameters, nutrient content and uptake by rapeseed and mustard plants, availability of nutrients in the soil, and economics of rapeseed and mustard.
