Abstract:
The field experiments were conducted from August 2014 to March 2016 following Randomized Block Design (RBD) with three replications to study the dissipation pattern of cypermethrin at 50 and 100 g a.i. ha-1. One kg of curryleaf sample was collected randomly from each plot at 0 (one h after spraying), 1, 3, 5, 7, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 days after the last application of the insecticide. The initial deposit of cypermethrin determined one hour after application on curryleaf samples at recommended dose and double the recommended doses were 2.99 and 3.83 µg g-1 which dissipated to 0.16 and 0.21mg kg-1 respectively. The residues reached BDL at 30 days in both the doses.
