Abstract:
The present experiment was carried out at R.A.K. College of Agriculture Sehore during Kharif season of the year 2011-12. The experiment was laid out in R.B.D. with 12 treatment combination consisting of 4 levels of nitrogen (75,100,125 and 150 kg/ha) and three concentrations of GA
3 (0,50,100 ppm) replicated three times. The growth parameters like plant height, plant spread, diameter of stem and number of leaves/plant found maximum at the application of 150 kg N/ha and 100 ppm GA
3. The fruit yield of okra var. VRO-6 was maximum 83.15q/ha with the application of 150 kg N/ha and 100ppm GA
3.
