Abstract:
The present study was conducted to find out the detection of pesticide residues in feed samples using paper strip assay. Feed samples collected from the different area of Ajmer city. Feed samples like Bajara, Wheat, Khal, Dry feed Gaver. Were analyzed by using paprer strip assay. A total of 5 feed samples were tested wherein sample no 01, 06 and 16 were reported positive for pesticide residues while sample no 03 and 12 were found partially positive. In feed, two samples i.e. sample no 2 and 3 were reported positive for pesticide residues using paper strip assay for pesticide residues developed at ICAR-NDRI Karnal. The quantification and nature of pesticides present in the sample should be ascertained using GC/ GS-MS technique. In feed samples maximum concentration was found in winter and minimum was found in rainy with mean residues level.
